Children’s Ministry Director

Tessa Romo

Tessa Romo, mother of 3, grew up in a family where Christian faith was a way of life throughout generations. Her parents and grandparents were leaders in the church, and her commitment to God grew naturally by participating in church activities several times a week.

From the time she was old enough, she served by teaching Sunday school, as a leader in VBS, and several mission trips in the US and Africa. Tessa has over a decade of experience teaching in the public school setting, and has two teaching credentials.

Tessa’s focus in her ministry is driven by the conviction that children are not only the future of the church, but active, vital members of the present church. She believes that children should be an integral part of magnifying the presence of God, and shining a light in the world.
